Songbird: Nightingale .:SHD:.

“It was the nightingale, and not the lark,
That pierced the fearful hollow of thine ear;
Nightly she sings on yon pomegranate-tree:
Believe me, love, it was the nightingale.”
(William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, Act 3, Scene 5)

This sculpted, hand-painted Nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos) knows 6 songs that it plays randomly at night (daytime version, silent version and version that plays on touch also included).

Copyable, rez as many as you want.
Modifiable, easily resized to a realistic bird size or even much smaller (the default size is rather big, for use as a decorative item and to make it easy to find and place them).
Only 2 prims!

Until January 21, 2009, 100% of every in-world sale of the nightingale automatically goes to the SLSC SOS campaign.
See the SLSC SOS Campaign Homepage for more info.

Songbird: Robin .:SHD:.

This sculpted, hand-painted European Robin (Erithacus rubecula) knows 4 songs that it plays randomly at daytime (silent version and version that plays on touch also included).
Since the mid-19th century, the Robin has become strongly associated with Christmas.

Copyable, rez as many as you want.
Modifiable, easily resized to a realistic bird size or even much smaller (the default size is rather big, for use as a decorative item and to make it easy to find and place them).
Only 2 prims!

More songbirds to follow!

.

Joulutonttu .:SHD:.

Related to Nisse and Tomte in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, this tonttu is Finland’s version of the Christmas elf. These little folk spirits are common decorations in Finland around Christmas time.

They’re only 6 prims, copyable and modifiable, so rez a bunch of them in different sizes — or wear one on your shoulder or hold one in your arm (shoulder version and arm version with holding pose also included).

.

One-prim Winter Trees .:SHD:.

The ultimate in low-prim garden decor: The single-prim sculpted winter tree! (It’s 2 prims with the optional shadow prim.) Use the snow-covered version or the plain green one; enough prims left over for you to decorate it and turn it into a Christmas tree! Optional snow particle script included.
